The health project “Mit Migranten für Migranten-Interkulturelle Gesundheit in Bayern” (MiMi- Bayern) aims to encourage the health-conscious of immigrants through multilingual and culture- sensitive informing. Bamberg has been one of the 15 locations in Bavaria in the course of the project since almost ten years. During the last years the coordination department of the inclusive office in Bamberg in cooperation with the public health department in Bamberg and the holder EMZ has trained many engaged immigrants to so-called multicultural MiMi mediators, who pass their knowledge in their native languages to the people from their countries in Bamberg.
